Cisco UCS B-Series Blade Servers are based on industry-standard server technologies, and provide:

  • Autodiscovery, with automatic recognition and configuration of blades by Cisco UCS Manager
  • Remote management through an integrated service processor that also executes policy established in Cisco UCS Manager software
  • Embedded integration with UCS Manager for all infrastructure policies required to deploy applications and provision servers
  • Keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM) access either locally through the front of each server or remotely by UCS Manager
  • Out-of-band access by remote KVM, Secure Shell (SSH), Serial over LAN, and virtual media (vMedia)
