CCSP Certification (Retired)
Beginning November 17, 2011, Cisco CCSP certification will be retired and Cisco will no longer issue new certifications. Individuals interested in pursuing a professional-level Cisco Security certification are encouraged to obtain the Cisco CCNP Security certification. The CCNP Security certification program is a job role-based certification for Cisco Network Security Engineers responsible for security in routers, switches, networking devices, and appliances.
With the retirement of the CCSP certification, candidates will no longer be able to recertify their existing CCSP certifications after November 17, 2011.
Those CCSP certified individuals that have passed recognized exams may be eligible to receive credit toward some or all of the CCNP Security certification. Credit from the following CCSP exams will be applied to CCNP Security certification.
