What is Required for Access?


Access to Disty Central requires the following:

  1. Must have a Cisco.com user ID and password. Request CCO ID and password if you do not have one.
  2. CCO ID must be associated with an Active Cisco distributor.
  3. Request access to Disty Central.

I do not have my own Cisco.com user ID and password.

To get your individual Cisco.com user ID and password:

  1. Complete the registration process. (Note: you must select Partner access, not Guest access.)
  2. Create a username and password.
  3. An email will be sent to your address. Please open it and click the link to return to the registration page.
  4. You will be asked to associate your Cisco.com user ID with your company. (See the guidelines below to learn how to do this.)

I do not have access with my existing Cisco.com ID or I have forgotten my Cisco.com ID

If you have a Cisco.com ID and password, but cannot access the Distribution Central portal, you may have forgotten your password or chosen Guest-Level access rather than Partner-Level access when you first requested a user ID. If this is the case, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Partner Self-Service (PSS) site, using your Cisco.com user ID and password.
  2. Click "User Admin Profile" and choose Partner access.
  3. An automatic notification will be sent to your company’s Partner Administrator to verify your association with the company. The Partner Self-Service site will identify your Partner Administrator.
  4. The Partner Administrator will approve your request. (You may want to contact your Partner Administrator to help ensure your request is approved quickly.)
  5. You will be granted Partner access and will be able to access the Distribution portal, as well as Partner Central tools and resources requiring a Cisco.com ID.

I need to associate myself with my company.

If you have a Cisco.com ID and password, but have not associated yourself with your company, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Partner Self-Service (PSS) site.
  2. Click "Associate Myself with a Company" under "Manage Access."
  3. Select your country from the "Country" pull-down menu and enter your company name in the "Partner Name" field. Click “Next” and your company name will be displayed.
  4. Select your company by clicking the radio button next to it. Click "Next."
  5. Select your company’s location from the "Location" pull-down menu. Click "Submit."
  6. Cisco will process your application within 48 hours.
